Chances are that if you are reading this, you are smart, well smart enough to read at least and that's all I'm asking for at this point. With your intelligence, you probably also have a ton of ideas. Some of these ideas may be good, while others may be total crap, but they're all ideas nonetheless. If you happen to think one idea is really good, or maybe you just happen to like on idea in particular; then it might be a good idea to pursue it.

Yet as simple as that sounds it's not. It's actually a very complex process no matter what it is you are trying to do. The problem that I have with internet-based projects is that there are just so many people trying to projects that they really don't have any business doing. It's sad, but true. Many reviewers out there can't articulate their thoughts in a manner that is truly representative of their own opinion and not just bits and pieces of the opinions of others.

Those who try to set themselves apart will often resort to humor because that's a great alternative. Spill.com is one of my favorite sites for good reason. Yet others who try to go the entertainment route often fail in the the entertaining portion of their attempts. This means that those who actually have something will fall in with the mesh of mediocre material.

I'm not trying to claim that the project I've been working on isn't mediocre because it really is. Only one of our hosts actually has any charisma and he really is the one who carries the show. I don't expect any real success but that doesn't mean I'm not trying. I have no illusions that it is anything more than a hobby, but I enjoy it and am going to continue until it just feels completely pointless.

Also, I'd like to note that I recognize that there is a way to get good content noticed, but it takes a lot of time and effort. Being a college student, I can't devote that much time.

Yeah mine is the same, though we do try to add a lot of effort into it. Where's yours?

Huh. Sounds a lot like what I'm doing. Except it's more of a side hobby than a serious project.
