Amanda Seyfried To Show Us Her 'Lovelace'
It seems that Amanda Seyfried ('In Time,' 'Mean Girls') will be appearing in 'Lovelace' for Millennium Films. The film is a biopic about legendary pornography actress Linda Lovelace and begins shooting in January. The film will not only detail aspects of the actress' career, including starring in the notorious 'Deep Throat,' but also document her tumultuous relationship with her husband Chuck Traynor, a pornographer himself who convinced her to get into the industry. She later got out of the business and divorced Traynor. The film's script is based on the book 'The Complete Linda Lovelace' by Eric Danville.
Sometimes you hear news of biopics and, because you aren't familiar with the person whose story is being given the big screen treatment, you lose all interest in the film. But I don't care if you've never watched an adult film in your life, Linda Lovelace sounds like a fascinating biopic subject. When you strip away the sleaze inherent in the films she was making, the humanistic side of her life story sounds both tragic and empowering. Seyfried is beautiful, no argument there, but she's also talented enough to take on this controversial role. The last time a major studio film was released that dealt dramatically with the adult film industry, we got the incredible, and Oscar nominated, 'Boogie Nights.' It will be interesting to see, however, if 'Lovelace' has to tangle with a potential NC-17 rating.

i wouldnt go so far as call boogie nights incredible. it was good, and most of that is because of marky marks acting and the ridiculous dialogue. i still quote the scene where he comes up with the name dirk diggler, priceless.
hope this movie get seyfried naked, not that she never been naked, the sex scene with her and amber heard in alpha dog is one of the greatest things ever shot

yeah pretty sure it is usually metalvirgin an fungusmonkey who post the spill crew reports.
as for the opinion parts they have always been there just lately (last few months or so) it has been more flushed out getting its own separate paragraph to distinguish the news an opinion more thoroughly. it works, i like it, on occasion it is a tad heavy handed but we are not a fan of the crew because they hold their punches.

here's no conspiracy, it's called a casting agent! The casting agent finds the actors work and then networks with other casting agents and actors, so both ladies ended up in the smae movie and going for the same role! You're a movie god you should know this! :P

all i have to say is after seeing amanda FFN in Chloe, she has the perfect body for this role. yes it is a shame Lindsay Lohan isn't gonna do this because she was the one actress who most looked like linda lovelace when she just started in the porn industry, but amanda is a perfect replacement for this main role. i personally hope that they release an NC-17 version and an R rated version. Same happened for boogie nights and look what happened.

Is it just me or have all the recent News posts on Spill been one paragraph of reporting and another paragraph of opinion?? Like, I'm willing to assume that this may very well have always been the case and I just hadn't noticed till now (though I should know: I've been on Spill everyday for like 3 years), but I've only started to reeaaaalllyy notice it over the past few weeks. They're all just posted by "The Spill Crew" so we have no way of knowing who's opinion we're actually reading. In this case, we all know for a fact that the entire Spill Crew thinks Amanda Seyfried looks like a goldfish... Idk. I'm not complaining. We all know where our own opinions tend to fall amongst the Spill Crew, so I just think I'd feel better reading someone's opinion when I know the dude it comes from. Otherwise its just kinda wtf and random.
