Across the Universe (2007)

Another day another musical, I think I've seen the most musicals in the last two years already. Well I figured this movie can't be that horrible, at least I like the Beatles so I can enjoy the music if not the movie itself. But I found that I did enjoy the movie to a certain degree. The visuals in it were amazing and beautiful, yet trippy. It worked very well with the content and the area being depicted. As for the storyline it was alright but nothing really that great about it. I just found it more clever to have the Beatles songs incorporated and have the same meaning as well. Overall it was an alright movie that I still enjoyed watching.
