Less like Michael Jackson, more like Michael Christ.
This film is a hard film to review, as it's not a film, it tries to be, it has a tibit of a story that runs though it, but it is just Rehearsal Footage, and it really kicks ass.
As the film starts I thought I was going to hate it, it starts of like Cloverfield, some young dancers are telling us the only reason they are there, this continues onto the start credits where an angleic chours fills the room and a bright holy light fills the screen. This is grade A ass kissing here.
But then it sorted itself out, which is the strange thing about this movie, it has a problem and about 5 mins later it either fixes it, or you just forget it.
It's not a film that you watch for the film, it's a film for the music and to show that his effort wasn't for nothing.
It shows what it was like working with MJ, it shows what a perfectionist he was, and the amount of effort that was put in to the show.
They filmed a ton of new materal just to go with the concert and how that was made.
Which leads to a few problems I had with the film, first of all this is just my opinon, but I thought they really ruined thriller here, with cheesy costumes that look worse than the ones in the original, and forced 3D effects, it just seems unneeded.
But the problem that should effect everyone, the novilty of watching him preform grows tedious and paper thin just after the first hour, which means the film has little momentum.
If this concert went to plan, then this would of just of been on DVD or evev never seen, which leaves us to think, how awesome would the show of been.
