Hey there, guys! :D
Sorry if I don't even post anything here, but I thought this time I'd share this bit of French animation right here on Spill. Yes, I said animation. What? You thought it was a scary movie? Pfft. Come on XD

From the information that I could find about this film (which most of it was in French, duh), this film was gathering dust on the shelves for some time after being cancelled back in 2007, rumors are going around that it was picked up by the director of SharkTale(yeah... I hope it's not true). Screenplay written by Stéphane Kazandjian and Bibo Bergeron.

Produced by EuropaCorp, Un Monstre a Paris/A Monster in Paris takes place in the early 1900's in the turn of the century and it follows a singer named Lucille (voiced by Vanessa Paradis) who gives shelter to a monster named Francoeur(voiced by Mathieu Chedid) who lives in a greenhouse and falls in love with her.

I know this sounds and looks like a combo of Phantom of the Opera and Beauty and the Beast, hopefully there are a few surprises in the film that will make this film worthwhile. I'm being hyped by the many drawings I found over at deviantArt, I don't want to be bummed after I find out the film is a bomb, which I don't want it to be.

A Monster in Paris is to be released on October 2011.
