That is brave of up Leon to tell your Grandma about it as well as your mom. My Dad is agnostic, he doesn't say that, but I know he is. He always says that he's just tired of people forcing down their religious belief on others and even blame the devil or praise G-d when something happens without taking any responsibility for the actions that they perform. One of the hardest thing for me to do was to tell him that I want to convert to Judaism, because the rest of the family is either Catholic or Protestant. I think when he was younger he was tired of doing all the Catholic things with his cousin and didn't want to pass it on to his kids, but he didn't know about anything about Judiasm and orginally thought that I only wanted to convert to get more presents during the winter season, with Hannukah and all, and even tried to talk me out of it by saying, 'You only get socks for those holidays'. I still am activitly trying to convert, because for me, it's about the lifestyle and set of beliefs that's work for me as well as the fact that I have Aspergers and want to be apart this community that has been through so much, rather then thinking it's the 'true' religion, but my Dad is still getting used to the idea about me bringing in a new religion to the family. So, your family might come around too.

I know my thing is different, but I come from a primarily Catholic family, so I am still tip-toeing around during Christmas and Easter, just like I bet you do during that time as well.

Ramon Wright. I've seen you on the site for awhile, and would hate to see a familiar face (or thumbnail) leave. However, I can't help but strongly disagree when you say that we 'promote' Godless beliefs. To say we promote would imply that we actively try to persuade people to our way of thinking. In this case we're asked a question about our beliefs, we answer honestly, and we follow up by saying that we RESPECT other people's beliefs.

Sounds like if we're promoting anything it's tolerance. I say this with much respect to yourself and your religion.

@Ramon Wright
If the Spill Crew being mostly atheist bothers you, you can leave. Why should they have to change their beliefs?

@Edward La Guardia
I disagree. I think the issue of whether you believe in God or not is deeply personal and only as important as you make it.
