WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD!

Plot:

As Jor-El gives Clark his final trails of his journey of being a hero. And those trials is that he must face a darkness that is coming to earth. Darkseid a being that will destroy the earth and corrupts people with the darkness.

Review:

It finally ends . There are lots of things in my childhood that ends last year and this year and this is one of them. I grew up watching the show ever since season 2 came out and they did some re-runs of the first. I remember Season 6 and 7 being my favorite seasons of all time. Even though back when i was a kid i don't understand why are there so many characters that are not from the comics.So the season ended In a disappointing way why, well. The entire season was a big letdown to me probably a bigger letdown than Season 8 and 9. But like every season there would be a few episode that didn't let me down and there we're 3 episodes that i liked in this season which is Patriot, where Aquaman returns with his wife Mera played the beauiful, Elena Satine (She's hot) that episode was great, I'm glad Aquaman has a better english accent. And then there was Icarus that episode was okay.. I think they killed off Hawkman too early but it did say that he will be reborn. The ending was climactic enough to get me excited for Episde 12/Collateral.My favorite episode for this season "BOOSTER" which is such an awesome  episode they introduced Booster Gold my other favorite DC hero. Geoff Johns wrote the episode and he did episodes in the past seasons but he started in Season 8 the Legion episode and last season which is hands down my favorite episode of all time in the entire show ABSOLUTE JUSTICE. To me i think Geoff Johns would've wrote all of the episodes in season 10. I never knew he could tell a good Superman story with characters he have worked on before. he is mostly doing a run of the Green lantern series and i think the booster gold series . When the episode ended i was begging for a spinoff show of Blue Beetle and Booster Gold. Story wise i like the first half of the story where it ws an Civil War-ISh movie (not the american Civil War but Superhuman Registration Civil War) I like that part of the season. But it lasted after the Beacon episode. Overall the other episodes we're either shitty or terrible and maybe decent. The decent episodes was probably Beacon,Luthor,Scion,and Kent. Those 4 episodes we're decent enough for me to like it. I like how they intorduced Superboy in the show. And see a glimpse of Earth-2 which was accurate enough. The others we're sooooo disappointing and you know what I'm talking about. It's the 3 Rip-Off episodes. when the season kicked off with a new episode in January after the season break and that disappointing episode was Collateral for some reason it felt like a ripoff of the Matrix i was like " I WAITED A MONTH FOR THIS PIECE OF SHIT!" and then Beacon came in i think it was a decent episode. And after that the ripoffs just keep getting worst and worst episode after episode. THe episode after that was a rip off of DATE NIGHT (Yes, I'm not kidding. THe Steve Carrell and Tina Fey movie) it wasn't even that decent for me to like it and then after that where i laughed nervously was MASQUERADE. Masquerade was a TOTAL ripoff of The Hangover where Zatanna spiked the wine they drank and they had this crazy bachelor night and the next morning they don't know WTF is going on. 7 good episodes out of 21 episodes for this season. Overall it was disappointing. The finale is probably worth talking about in this point of the review. The Finale was also disappointing. It was probably the most Anti-Climactic bullshit that I've ever seen. It did had it's goods. The way it ended made me applaud. I clapped my hands so loud because the ending was so epic. But the reason why it is so anti climactic because the first reason. The fight between Darkseid and Clark was anti climactic. Darkseid came out as a heartless (Literally heartless) almost dead Lionel (it had a Blackest Night feel to him BTW) I was expecting the CG Darkseid that they showed a few months before the season started. Then i was like BEAT THE SHIT OUTTA HIM CLARK!  but he flew through him instead and it destroyed him or supposedly killed him. That whole sequence disappointed me. It's like Phantom Menace all over again. But the other thing is i was wondering how will Clark defeat him because he doesn't have that bow and arrow that Green Arrow was supposed to get. But the surprise ruined it for me. And then the Green Arrow fight in that episode. I was expecting a 3 on 1 spell fight but he just fired his arrows and bam the 3 we're defeated they just disappeared like a little cloud.But before the episode there was an episode called Prophecy they gathered the Legion of Doom and they showed the pics of the heroes that are patrolling metropolis because the big hero is having his wedding that day. And i was expecting that in the Finale seeing the other heroes battle they're villains but i didn't see that. It was the other disappointment i had. And again with the ending it was so epic. So epic they even put the Original Superman Theme. I do like the fact that they are telling the relationship of Clark and Lois in detail but it felt too artsy. Too artsy that they had to have these very useless episodes like ISIS where they had theselovey dovey hypnotism/ under her control trick that will evolve they're relationship. It's like the last season we had two useless episodes which is that Thanksgiving episode where they meet some Pilgrims and the episode where Lois,Clark, Oliver and Chloe goes to this cottage in the 15th episode of Season 9. The cast was pretty good as always. Tom Welling gets to direct two episodes and those episodes that i believe we're my favorite episodes of this season which is Booster and Patriot. He should've directed all of the episodes and Geoff Johns is writing them.I think they told the character/superhero journey really well. I'm glad to see him finally wearing the suit and fly. It's better loking at him wearing that suit instead of that Neo-ish suit and that Power Ranger jacket. Erica Durance played probably my favorite  portrayal of Lois Lane. She got the part of Lois right and she knocked out of the park and she's hot, In the finale, the ending where we see the Lois we all know and obviously loved is handled well but it's weird because Jimmy Olsen is there..... Didn't he die in Season 8. But still st least he was there, It was disappointing that he died because it was too early to kill him off. Justin Hartley is back as The Green Arrow and directed a disappointing episode that made me say "WTF?! IS THAT SHIT!"  *cough* Dominion *cough* still he was a great Green arrow that i didn't expect to see for this universe. My complaint about his character is that they don't give him much of a good script at some point he'll be doing saying some witty references every 5 minutes. Allison Mack plays Chloe Sullivan. I know she is not a character from the comics but writers does a good job fitting the character in the universe. Cassidy Freeman as Lex's sister Lutessa "tess" Luthor. I think she as in the comics but not that much to go back to. She was great and like Chloe she fits in the universe well. And speaking of Luthor. Lex and Lionel are back. Lionel was able to escape Earth 2 where he is a bigger asshole than the original Lionel. And Lex being revived by Darkseid himself. Lex gave Clark a fighting chance in the Finale to defeat Darkseid because they will have a bigger battle of they're own in the future anyway.Both of them we're great. Lex did have a climactic return  in the end of the season. PRESIDENT LEX 2018! Overall there we're good episodes but majority it was a disappointing season. Character wise (i forgot to mention this) Darkseid was given the Voldemort treatment. Remember back in the Harry Potter movies where they keep saying Voldemort is getting powerful. They did the same here but they don't show you his full power in the ending of the season. As i said he had an anti climactic exit. I'm sure they don't have the budget to make the finale epic enough. Although seeing this end. I cried at some parts. It felt like a soap opera (which is the entire season is). And those parts in the Finale made me Almost cry especially the scene where Jor-El showed him his trials and it was looking back at last 10 seasons and then Tears of joy in the ending. It's like the Lost Finale all over again where i cry in the Finale. The Season is still disappointing but they told a great journey for the last 10 years.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

NO LIE. I STILL ENJOYED THE FINALE. BUT THE ENTIRE SEASON WAS JUST DISAPPOINTING WITH THESE BULLSHIT EPISODES. I'M STILL A HUGE FAN OF THE SHOW SEASON 6 AND 7 WILL ALWAYS BE THE BEST SEASONS. BTW....HAPPY B-DAY CO HOST 3000
