You damn right I do! I must’ve seen every episode of that show at least twice!

Oh wait—I read this wrong. It’s an open casting call for a lead actor for the movie!

This was originally supposed to be directed by the Hughes brothers but now . Warner Bros.Pictures and Legendary Pictures have hired Max Makowski (One Last Dance, Taboo) to direct the big screen KUNG FU adaptation. Makowski intends to give the project an edgier take than the ABC series, which revolved around a Shaolin monk (David Carradine) forced to flee to the Wild West, where he used his martial arts skills to fend off various evildoers.

Here’s the ad for any of you would-be badasses out there:

"Male, 20-35. A handsome mix of East (Chinese/Asian) meets West (American). A man with the emotional capacity of a young Clint Eastwood. Charismatic and charming, Caine was raised by Shaolin monks after his mother's murder and became a highly skilled fighter. In addition to being a strong actor with the right look, the actor for this role should be athletic and although not required, some martial arts training, gymnastics or ballet are a plus."

Me, myself, I may not know karate but I know ka-razor! But if you do, GO FOR IT!

…But I probably should mention production is eyeing a March 8 start in China

I don't know if it was intentional but the majority of this post is black text on a black background. At first I thought you were mocking Keanu Reeves, which I enjoyed immensely.
