ZAC EFRON IN PIRATES OF THE CARRIBBEAN 4?
Like everyone who looked at this blog's title, I laughed the idea off, but it this appears to be true. Efron has reportedly been paid a cool $6 million to star in the fourth installment of the franchise in a deal which also ties him to the High School Musical franchise. His fee pales in comparasion to Johnny Depp's staggering $30 million to return as Jack Sparrow. Keira Knightly is also expected to reprise her role as Elizabeth Swan, but Orlando Bloom isn't expected to come back.

Comment by MiCaH on October 21, 2008 at 3:52pm - I don't care anymore. Like I said before - Pirates of the Caribbean lost its entertainment value and respect from me during the second film. They became slow-paced, indicipherable and I got tired of seeing all the "good guys" backstab each other. Its like raping a corpse. As long as they keep him and those other Disney Channel freaks away from Pixar films and what's left of the Narnia series, I'm not complaining.
