The Numerous Ratings of Spill
As pointed out by Cyrus in the recent Spill review of Sex Drive, there are not 5, but at least 16 different ratings that can be given by members of the Spill Crew. I have tried to recall all the different ratings that I have heard over the years and presented them here, highest to lowest:
Better than Sex with all of the Spill Cew's Mothers! (An unusual rating given by Co-Host to The Dark Knight)
Better Than Sex! (first given by Carlyle to the movie American Gangster)
Somewhere between Better ‘Than Sex!’ and ‘Full Price!’! (rating for The Dark Knight, as given by Corey and Leon)
Full Price!
Low Full Price! (as recently given by Corey to the movie Sex Drive)
High Matinee!
Firm Matinee!
Matinee!
¾ Matinee! (Hopefully just a joke by Cyrus)
Low Matinee!
High Rental!
Rental!
Low Rental!
Some ol’ Bullsh*t!
('I drop the Bull and just give it') Shit! (Given by Co-Host to the new X-files Movie)
Bullshit, Bullshit, Bullshit! (Given by Corey to emphasize his anger about Meet the Spartans)
(a resounding) F*ck You! (As invented by Corey to express his total lack of appreciation for either the film Disaster Movie’ or it's makers. Also recently given by Co-Host to the movie Max Payne)
Well, I for one think it’s great that the Crew has expressed such creativity and thereby developed a more accurate and fairer rating system.
I may be missing some here, so please, if anyone of you knows of any other ratings that have been given or can point out any mistakes I made, do let me know and I shall update the list.
