TOP TEN GREATEST, SICK, CHILLING, AND SOME SAD FILM DEATH SCENES OF ALL TIME!!!!!! (In my Opinion, of course)

These are moments in the film history that show a character's death. And since I don't have much of a social life I am going to make a Top Ten List for them. I think someone else did the same thing. If it is I'm sorry, I really didn't know.


10.Frankenstein (1931)

The scene in which the Monster kills the character Maria thinking she will float like flower petals. Unfortunately for her, she was too heavy. The scene was taken off from the original movie.

9.Rebecca (1940)

Devoted housekeeper Mrs. Danvers' (Judith Anderson) death by fire in Manderley mansion as she scurried around inside and the burning roof caved in on top of her, as someone commented: "Mrs. Danvers - she's gone mad!"

8.No Country For Old Men

The opening murder of a young deputy (Zach Hopkins) by handcuffed amoral, psychotic thrill-killer Anton Chigurh (Javier Bardem), using his handcuffs as a garrote from behind - he reacted with a grinning, satisfied exhilation after the killing; throughout the film, Chigurh killed other victims with a compressed-air cattlegun.





7. Dr. Strangelove (1964)

The hat-waving, yee-hawing, bronco-phallic descent to Doomsday of Major Kong (Slim Pickens) while riding an atomic bomb, followed by the ironic tune "We'll Meet Again"



6. Platoon

The crucifixion martyr pose of nice-guy Sgt. Elias (Willem Dafoe) as a helicopter pulled away, and he staggered into view before NVA bullets overpowered him.





5.Taxi Driver

The bloody shootout at the film's conclusion, beginning with the point-blank range murder of pimp Sport (Harvey Keitel) by one-man vigilante Travis Bickle (Robert DeNiro).





4. Psycho

And then came Psycho. Everybody knows about this scene.





3. V for Vendetta (2006)

This movie did not live upt to my expectations. This movie was not good enough for adaptation of the Graphic novel. V is potrayed more as a charming superhero instead of acarchistic terrorist with vengeance and justice on his mind. But still this fight scene is actually good. I liked it. What can I say, I just love blood






2. Hannibal

Not really a death scene, but close enough. In this gruesome scene, Hannibal is trying to eat the brain of someone.





1. Oldboy (2003)

Not actually a death scene, more like a massacre. This brilliant movie shows a fight scene in whinch character Oh-Dae Shuu fights against numerous henchmen. The scene is more remembered for its completion in just 1 edit.



Now I Know you might have your own opinions. There are other death scenes even gruesome than the ones above. But these are the ones that I can never forget. (I wanted to add Training Day scene and Kill Bill Crazy 88 scene as well too. but I was too lazy). Again I'm sorry if I have stolen from somebody. Honest mistake.
