Rumor: Matt Damon in David Fincher's Torso?

Firstshowing caught a rumor from Cleveland.com that Matt Damon may be in David Fincher's (Fight Club, Zodiac, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) movie adaptation of the graphic novel; Torso. Torso is based on the true story of the Cleveland Torso Murderer.
The rumor is that Matt Damon will play Cleveland's safety director Eliot Ness (yes, the same one that took on Al Capone), who gets wrapped up in the killings, as well as details on Ohio's lack of tax breaks for filmmakers.

badass Finchers a great director cant wait to see TCCOBB, and Zodiac was one of my favorite movies of 2007, lets hope this is true, he hasnt failed to deliver good films in the past in my opinion.

This is thype of Graphic Novel that would work great as a film and I have the full confidence in Finchers film making ability.

Sound good to me. But what studio is going to get. Please don't let it be Fox. I'm going to check that Torso graphic novel. Because anything Brian Michael Bendis does I got to give it a shot; he did a great job with Sam & Twitch and this sounds like the same kind of category.

This was a really good graphic novel! Bendis does good crime stories. good to hear it's finally getting made! it was caught up in limbo for a while.
