I can't do a review, BECAUSE THIS SERIES NEVER DIES!!!! so heres the status of it ^.^

This is a good series. It really is. But it can be a mixed bag sometimes. Naruto is about boy wanting to become the top ninja, or Hokage. He lives in Konoha , and his 2 best friends are Sasuke and Sakura and they are taught by Kakashi-sensei. On Naruto's way to the top he goes through a flurry of encounters, problems, and issues to get there.

I think thats enough of an intro for ya. Watch the series if you want a detailed explanation of this anime. The current status for me is mixed bag. Sometimes it can be amazing and other times it just drags on. And this is caused by 2 main problems. Repetitiveness and Overexagerrated Emotion. For some animes, to reach the release date they rush production and use the same frames. But Naruto blows this to the extreme! Its use of the SAME frames for the SAME action is kinda annoying. They also show ALOT of unnessecary flashbacks. Think of seeing an epic moment. Ok, now think of seeing it EVERY episode after , TWICE in the SAME episode. Naruto shows alot of flashbacks that just arent needed. Its almost as if they have to show every single second of the characters head. It drags the episodes on and overall nothing new is shown to progress the story. Now on the plus side the plot and story are great. You do feel for these characters. The setting is awesome and overall its just fun to watch it. But that leads me to problem number 2. Overexaggerated expressions of sadness are in every episode. "WAHH! Sasuke, come back please! everyone misses you" Shut the fuck up and get over it. The emotion in this is to cheesy to truly relate to. Overexgeratted crying, screams, and words are shown. And you can tell what message they are trying to send, but you really wish they'd get on with the story. Especially since badasses like The Akatsuki are out to kick Naruto's ass too.

The current series Naruto is in, the recent Naruto : Shippuden.

And to some degree, the series has matured. Naruto is more mature, stronger and thank God, less sappier about Sasuke. Character developement and plot get huge pluses too. but one problem stays and thats in the form of the flashbacks. they still use too much of them at once and even though this new series is nothing short of epic, the mood is still ruined sometimes by the repetitive flashbacks.On the plus side, the amazing battles and interesting cast of characters remain, and overall it does make your jaw drop sometimes.

In the end, Naruto is the defining ninja anime. With its great fight scenes, story, characters , and setting, its hard not to love it. But if they stopped repeating flashbacks and showed real RAW emotion, then we'd have something nothing less of timeless. and ALOT less fillers too. A series needs an ending and Naruto has put so many lines to tie up that its put itself in the position of this. Either get lazy and kill the series OR keep on going to the end. And this keeps on going. and going. Luckily it still has the huge fanbase to support it too.

Overall I see Naruto as the Dragonball Z of this generation. Same epic battles, same amazing story and the same problems too. It will be seen as classic that is for sure. and honestly, how can you hate a ninja?
