Jason Friedberg and
Aaron Seltzer, now what comes to your mind when you hear these names? Genius? Poetic? Comedy legends? How about all of the above. I have just seen what I believe to be, one of the best films of 2008,
Disaster Movie. I laughed and I cried and I cheered at this movie. This is truly a legend of a film.

I had been waiting for this movie all summer I was worried that it wouldn’t live up to the
trailer I mean the trailer its self was spectacular. Thankfully it did live up to the awesome hype of the trailer not only that but it was even better than what I was dreaming it would be like. This movie blew my mind like no other movie has before. The character depth that it went into this was truly amazing. The acting was
Oscar caliber which was to be expected what with all the great academy award winning actors in the film.

It’s so great to finally get a good movie out this summer instead of having to sit threw crap like
The Dark Knight which did terrible in the box office. But now we finally have a movie out that everyone will enjoy. The great thing about this movie is it has everything from comedy to drama to action to teeth biting horror.

I would have to say the thing that I really love about this movie would be the writing. This script and that Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer have written is just amazing. I haven’t seen writing like this since cult classic movies such as
Meet The Spartans and critically acclaimed best movie of 2007
Epic Movie. This movie is of course a spoof movie but this is like no other spoof movie you have seen before. It’s not like the last so called spoof on Hollywood movie "
Tropic Thunder" that movie was truly a disaster. This masterpiece of a film spoofs such movies as Cloverfield, Indiana Jones, Handcock, Iron Man, The Dark Knight, and many other movies and pop culture referenses. The ironic thing is that this movie is allot better than all the movies they spoof.

Well to sum it up this is truly a masterpiece of a film and I’m looking forward to see what Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer have in store for us next, for they are truly gods of Hollywood.
The End
