Ah my blog cherry has been popped

So I've never written a blog. Not here nor anywhere else. Unless those silly things on MySpace count, In which case every 16 year old girl in America is an official blogger and that scares me a little bit. But I am not 16 and I'm not rabidly "friending" people on MySpace so I think that makes me more credible already.

Alright I'm going to be different here and yak about a movie that's not in theaters right now. I watched Traffic for the second time today, and I noticed that Catherine Zeta-Jones was really quite good in it. The only other time I though that was in Chicago...and that's it. I had a moment where I wondered "Why is this woman so under used?" I mean what else has she been in. Okay those Zorro thingys which I won't comment on, she had a small part in High Fidelity which was good but, yeah, small, and No Reservations which may as well been called "Fomulaic Rom-Com: The Movie" from the looks of it. Everything else I can't even remember. Basically I don't understand why an Oscar Winning, well adjusted and lovely woman is making this crap when Scarlett Johansson is in Woody Allen films and acts as well as a wooden post (I'm sorry but it's true). Is Catherine getting no good scripts? Is she too busy making babies with the increasingly be-jowled Michael Douglas? Tis frustrating.

Well that turned into more of a rant than I meant it to haha. But one of my biggest pet peeves is when talented actresses are in bad movies, while bad actresses keep getting more parts. Anywhoodle, if you think I'm off my nut then don't be afraid to say so. I promise not all my blogs will be this insane. It's the end of finals week and I'm hyper as hell because of it. Enjoy!
