Carlyle's How You Would Have Ended it Contest Winners
Well, when I started this contest I thought there would be more home made versions of films - especially since some of you can't pull yourself away from being in front of webcams...but c'est la vie. Instead we got a number of very well edited endings to a number of recent (and the occasional classic) movies. And here are the best.
Die Hard 4. Tyler Durden helped kick off this contest with this badass send up of an ending for Die Hard 4 - complete with surprise guest. I've always had a softspot for these kinds of mash-ups and this one was particularly inspired. Great job, Tyler!
Then Jobe9779 came at us with a great mashup, giving us an incredible ending to a cult movie I loved, but the rest of the guys LOATHED. Of course, they weren't alone. But that can't stop them from loving this fun sendup to the Danny Devito directed comedy...
And then we even had our own spammer - Meksicano - who proceeded to flood the forum with a number of inspired entries. However the one that REALLY killed me and went outside the box was an alternate history of a review by us. That thing was funny as hell. Unfortunately someone in the matrix didn't think it was as funny as the rest of us did and had it pulled from the servers. So here's the SECOND funniest thing Meksicano did. Sure, it goes outside of the rules a little, but he made so many winners that stayed inside the rules...and you can surf the forum looking at all of those. But this is the one you're most likely to ost in your own blogs and show to your friends. I loves me a good meme - and this is a GREAT take on one of my favoritest things done as of late.
Needless to say, Meksicano went above and beyond with this contest, making a number of entires that will keep you entertained for upwards of a half hour. So guess what. The dude won. Seriously, go spend some time in the forum and surf the entries.

I can't wait for the next contest, what will it be? I'm hoping for something in the realm of fiction, has anyone ever written any fan fiction about you guys? I'd love to take a stab at that, but knowing Proffessor Carlyle, he'll dig up some god forsaken movie no one has ever seen or heard of and make us all write a review about it...I haven't written a movie review since college!
