How about an interactive map of Springfield for your next road trip?

Since there's no way to know for sure which state's city of Springfield the Simpsons actually live in (and you know good and well it ain't Vermont! That contest from 2007 was just a publicity stunt) then you can forget about using Mapquest or Google maps to find your way around from the Kwik-E-Mart to the Statue of Jebediah Springfield to Mr.Burn's power plant. But fear not because someone with dedication (and a good knowledge of Java script) has created this interactive map.

Tool around the city, take in the sights...stop off for a beer at Moe's.

T.G.R.I., you read my mind. I'd like to know what this guy used as reference since many locations seemed to have relocated as the series went on and the town seemingly got bigger. I believe the church used to be in the other side of the Simpson's house, the Power Plant's parking lot was behind their backyard, and ex-president Bush Sr.'s house is non-existent now, if not smaller. Then again, I can't remember the season where they moved the town a few miles "down' the road" when they were finally covered in litter, so that changes everything.
Very cool, though. I like how the town was set up in The Simpsons: Road Rage video game.

Oh, and seeing the gay steel mill right next to the prison is pretty damn funny.
