Kevin McKidd To Star In The Highlander Remake!

With Hollywood fresh out of idea's and dishing up remake, after remake - it was inevitable that 1986's classic Highlander would be added to the list of upcoming remakes. Now I agree with everyone that this film doesn't need to be remade but we are a small minority and as long as remakes make money we will continue to see more and more films being remade!
The guys over at JoBlo.com are reporting that Kevin McKidd (Trainspotting, Journeyman) had been approached about starring in a new Highlander film. He didn’t offer much more information than that. The producers have previously stated that they would include medieval Scotland in their version of the story. And McKidd may have some time on his schedule after the cancelation of Quantum Leap 2...I mean "JOURNEYMAN" series. At least it's not going to star Jason Statham!
