UH OH? I'M SCARED THAT DISASTER MOVIE MIGHT MAKE #1 NEXT WEEK.

i know we are all hoping and preying that Disaster Movie bombs at the box office next week, well i'm afraid it's gonna be Meet the Spartans all over again.
Why do i feel this way? Well, it just i've got a question to all the internet people out there, how often do you stumble across an ad for Disaster Movie? i've noticed alot of ads all the time, on youtube, myspace, and it is the biggest ad on imdb.com right now, not to mention i see alot of tv spots on television. Now some people are thinking that the ads might not be a big concern,

but, remember Babylon A.D. (the new Vin Diesal movie) is also coming out that weekend too, and it's the only other PG-13 movie coming out that weekend


and there is also College, which is a rated R Comedy.


now i have not seen many ads of Babylon A.D. and knowing that it's a Fox film (Korey and Carlyle mentioned on Acoco how they aren't having screenings and not promoting their films) and it looks like that's what their doing with Babylon A.D.

now, some people might say that Love Guru Promoted itself all over the place and it didn't do well, but that weekend, Get Smart was out that same weekend and looked funnier, plus it was another PG-13 comedy to see. this case, their is no other new pg-13 comedy to see that weekend.

so, think about this as a teenager who isn't into movies like us on Spill, a simple innocent teenager, you're with your friends, and you walk up to the box office, you see the movies that are out (College, Babylon A.D., and Disaster Movie) you are talking with your friends saying.
"what do you want to see?"
"i don't know, what's out?"
you read the movies that are out, you are too young to see College, you have never heard of Bablyon A.D. and your in the mood to laugh, you see Disaster Movie.
"hey i've heard about it, it looks stupid, but it could be funny. their's nothing else to see, lets see that"

Trust me, i've been a teenager, i know especially teenage girls who just want to see a comedy that they are old enough to see not knowing how much a piece of shit it will be.

I think i may have a plan to help stop this from happening, we all go out on friday, buy a ticket for either College or Babylon A.D., sneak into Disaster Movie, suffer through it, and all of us post up a review of the movie as soon as possible and convince people not to see it, then on Sunday, go to your local movie theater, ask the box office people what movie is selling the most over the weekend. hopefully it's anything but disaster movie, if it is, buy a ticket for the movie that is selling the most and see that. Next week is gonna be the moment of truth to see if America has finally woken up and smelled the shit that is out.
