Hitman 5 confirmed

As of July of 2008, a fifth installment has been confirmed for "next generation" consoles.

"Great news for all fans of the dapper bald killer,IOI announces plans to release the game by December. John Doe from IOI claims that the new game will focus on redemption for 47, as well as to elucidate some of the mysteries of his past. Don't count on all your favoirte hitman characters to make it out of this one alive...or at least in one piece. Doe says 47 will have to make some tough decisions on who to trust when asked about multiplayer, John was excited to reveal that this will be the first Hitman game to feature fully fledged online gameplay, although he would reveal no more. Doe was excited to say that the game has been in development since a few weeks after BM's release and the game is really shaping up now into a true next generation Hitman experience. He was saddened that it would not come to the Ps2, but stated that what they were doing with the Hitman series was too revolutionary to run on the old Ps2."
