Jonathan Rhys Meyers is too carried away with being Henry VIII
On Nov. 18th, Sunday morning, Jonathan Rhys Meyers (The Tudors, Velvet Goldmine) was stopped from boarding a flight at the Dublin, Ireland, airport when police confronted him twice over his abusive behavior at the desk of the British airline BMI. Dublin Airport Police called Ireland's national police force, the Garda Siochana, after Rhys Meyers refused several requests to calm down and was finally arrested. He's facing charges of public drunkenness and breach of the peace.
It was just back in April of this year that his rep made the public announcement that he was going to rehab:
"After a non-stop succession of filming, Jonathan Rhys Meyers has entered an alcohol-treatment program. He felt a break was needed to maintain his recovery."
Sounds to me like what he needed was a break between drinks to keep his liver from bulging out his puffy shirt.
The big question I have is: How much do you have to drink to arrested for being drunk in IRELAND???

Doesn't help the airlines serve alcohol on the plane either.
I couldn't make a trip without some red wine to calm my nerves mmm

Exactly, if you couldn't get on a plan after a few drinks in Dublin nobody would fly. I mean they have THE guiness factory there, the number one means of transport must be an ambulance =).
We must have been wasted in that pic to think he could pull of those boots aswell

If it's any consolation to Meyers, most of his movies suck, so his taking a break to clean up wont have many people upset.
