Mamma Mia! Review!

Mamma Mia! Now, I was hesitant to this, because as much as I love musicals, I'm not a fan of jukebox musicals. On the otherhand, ABBA is one of my favourite bands, so I gave it a spin... AND I LOVED IT!

Sure, I may be a little bias because I love every single actor in the movie, love the soundtrack, and love both people I saw it with, but I checked out IMDb and reportedly, I'm not the only one who liked it... and seeming it' was a broadway musical beforehand, it HAD to be good to be made into a movie! There is really not much I can criticise about this movie... Yes, with all movies there are criticisms, but with this one, they are rare.


So, let me get the bad out of the way... Okay, during Dancing Queen, they had really weird slo-mo bits... I dunno why... they just seemed so out of place... I was like, "Why are they in slow motion?" and it was all like, "Slowwwwwww-mowwwww" and I was like... touche... So yeah... the slow motion parts annoyed me... I mean, I doubt they did it in slowmotion on stage... Anyway, Ummm... Pierce Brosnan was the only dad to get a duet with Meryl Streep... I wanted all 3 to have separate duets, but hey, Iguess you can't please everycharnstar, right? Hmmm... There was a really disturbing subplot which I swear they just made to use the song, "Does Your Mother Know Your Out?"... Yeah... Really minor criticisms here... Fine, fuck it!

AWESOME MOVIE! I saw it twice already! Come on! YOU KNOW YOU WANNA TOO! Awesome cast: Meryl Streep, Colin Firth, Pierce Brosnan. Awesome music: ABBA... AWESOME EVERYTHING! I loved it so much it inspired me to write a jukebox musical with Adam Ant music! I figure, if every one of my other favourite bands get musicals (ABBA, Queen, Billy Joel, etc.
) why doesn't Adam Ant? IT MADE SENSE TO ME SHUTUP! It shall be called, Vive Le Rock! Look out, in cinema's in probably 20 years or so! WOOOT!
