This is my personal opinion and nothing more. Some are biased, but so what I try to be as neutral as possible.
100. The Lost World (1925)

I have a slight bias here. The story is weak and the characters are are not very detailed, but the special effect for the time are great. And being exposed to this at a young age truly helped me understand and appreciate movies from all time periods.
99. Evil Dead 2 (1987)

A top 100 cant be complete without the B movies and this is one of the best. Mixing the shock of Evil Dead 1 and the humor that would soon take over Army of Darkness, Evil Dead 2 is a great flick to sit at home with a bunch of friends and watch.
98. No Country For Old Men (2007)

Sure a lot of people dislike the flick but I found it very memorizing with wonderful performances and perfect tone and mood. Javier's performance alone makes this number 98.
97. Gallipoli (1981)

A powerful film from Australia. One of Gibson's first films (minus Mad Max and a few others) and perhaps Peter Weir's big universal debut. Its a moving story of a young boy eager to join the Australian light horse during WWI and his friend who is dragged with him despite his resistance. Wonderful scenery and performances and perhaps one of the most underrated soundtracks
96. Legend (1985)

One of Ridley Scott's better movies. Nothing but imagination here. The story is a little weak, but the makeup, costumes, and special effects are all amazing here. And perhaps some of the dirtiest dialog I can think of. Tim Curry's performance is absolutely amazing here.
95. Knocked Up (2007)

An incredible gem for comedies. Perfectly captures the time and surroundings the movie takes place in. The dialog is sharp, the actors wonderful and the ending moving. Its hard to say which were the best movies of 2007... but I certainly feel that Knocked Up was one of them.
94. Batman Begins (2005)

This is where the bias comes in again. I love the batman character. Loved him since I was a kid. But never had a movie brought me back to a childhood love like this one. A "realistic", smart, in your face superhero movie. This has a endless list of great stars that all play their parts perfectly.
93. Die Hard (1988)

This is a smart action movie that requires the viewer to not only enjoy themselves, but pay attention to every scene, every moment. Nothing in this film goes to waste and its amazing how some of the stunts or action sequences are pulled off as realistic even where theres hardly a chance that they are possible.
92. Star Wars Episode IV (1977)

Most people prolly have this higher up... or perhaps episode V or VI instead of this, but I feel like this started it all. The characters are timeless (obviously) and I feel the special effects are better than the newer ones. The problem is that these keep getting remastered and re-cut that it feels like the original quality has gone down. Never the less this is one fun ride.
91. Pink Flamingos (1972)

I felt like I had to add at least one John Waters film and this would definitely be it. I haven't found a movie any move disgusting and yet so humorous with it. Be careful if you ever see this, its a real attack (I feel) on cultural norms and what people perceive is normal. Its gross, in your face and funny all the way through.
