M. Night Shyamalan has burned me on more than one occasion. I walked out of The Village ready to kick his ass and steal my money back from his pockets. M. Night is like a lover who occasionally pulls off a stunner which makes you willing to sleep with him again..maybe this time will be better. (Yeah you know I was going to find a way to equate this with sex). He's sometimey..and I just don't know if I can give my heart to this guy again and have him stomp all over it.

The movie starring Mark Walberg and Zooey Deschael looks good. And how often do you get to see Zooey? I love her. And I've loved Mark Walberg "long time" (nod to Me So Horny...). So as far as the talent..I'm in. It's just that...The Village, Unbreakable...to me, they sucked ass. Signs and The Sixth Sense...great films..Lady in the Water...it was in the middle for me..it's like..we are even. Will The Happening tip the scales for or against M Night? Do I put my hard earned money down on a leap of faith? Some movies I just want to see before they are reviewed so I don't have anyone else's opinions in my head as I watch it. M Knight's films are that way for me. I have to not listen to anything before I go and just go. I..I'm just scared to trust him. He's hurt me too many times before.
