I Miss the Silent Films

Boy... looking through my movie collection I noticed I did not have as many silent films that I expect... or want.

Silent films fascinate me... I cant explain it.
I only have 3 (Nosferatu, Lost World and Hunchback of Notre Dame) and yet Ive seen so many.
For every Halloween I used to rent horror films like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Phantom of the Opera and the Cabinet of Dr Caligari.

There is something so special of them... like an archive of the time. I love the lack of frames per second. The yellow, red and blue tints. Its something that always caught my eye. And the scenery is always gorgeous.

Imagination was limitless. Anything could happen. Chaplin, Lang, Murnau, Keaton.... I wish I could've met these people.

I'm hoping to make a silent film over the sumer... nothing complex... just a way to tribute them even though no one will see it.
