ATTN: Austintonians! Rare Carlyle appearance!
Hey guys, sorry I haven't been around much. Plumbing problems and move in woes O' plenty have plagued the house of Carlyle. BUT, there is something exciting happening tonight. Last night was the Austin premiere of a little indie film I appear in, titled WHEN IS TOMORROW.
It's a cool little film shot in Austin and starring director Kevin Ford, Eddie "Crabman" Steeples (My Name is Earl) and Angela "May" Bettis (May, Girl Interrupted). I'm in it for about a minute or so, and I've been asked to MC the event and Q&A. Last night we had a sold out show and it went great - and we'd like to repeat. So if you guys want to see a cool indie, see Eddie Steeples do a half hour stand up set and, you know, have a cold one with Carlyle - come see the second night of When is Tomorrow at the Alamo Ritz at 9:45 PM.
Can't make it tonight? It will be playing all week at the Alamo South Lamar starting Monday. And if it does well, Tim League (who loves the little thing) will extend the engagement. So come out, tell your friends, and if you dig it, by all means, BLOG IT.
