GODFATHER TRILOGY TO BE REMADE? APRIL FOOLS BIOTCHES! BWAHAHAHA!!!

What the... HELL?! Look, I realize today is April Fools Day and everyone's going to be making up all kinds of crazy movie news , but let me tell you. This is 100% legit and wow are people gonna crap their pants when they read this.

Looks like Paramount Pictures are gearing up for a new retelling of the "The Godfather Trilogy." Word is that the studio thinks it's a good time to bring back some new life into this classic and critically praised film series. *not including the third one I hope" Now this new trilogy will focus mainly on the rise of Vito Corleone as Godfather unlike the orginal film series which was mainly focused on Michael Corleone played by Al Pacino. Wait? Didn't Godfather 2 already tell this story masterfully? Guess not. The one interesting bit about this article is that the studio was actually considering Christian Bale to play Vito Corleone, but due to his film schedule involving the new Terminator films, the studio is now considering getting an unknown actor to fill Vito's shoes.
Well enough of my talk. Let's get on with the news.

Shocking news today from Hollywood. Industry insiders today leaked word that Paramount Studios will be remaking Francis Ford Coppola's Godfather series. Paramount has received Francis Ford Coppolas blessing to go forward with the project in in hopes to appeal to todays younger audiences; much like their upcoming reboot of the "Star Trek" film series. Paramount Studios will be making an official announcement later in the week.

Inside sources working close to the project say that the first film will take place in 1901, in the town of Corleone in Sicily, at the funeral procession for young Vito's father, Antonio Andolini, who has been ordered to be killed by the local Mafia chieftain, Don Ciccio. From there the trilogy will be mainly focused on young Vitos rise to power all the way to his eventual death as seen in the original Godfather film.

Insider buzz also indicated that "Dark Knight" star Christian Bale was considered for the role of Vito Corleone, as played by both Marlon Brando and Robert De Niro, but with his involvement in McG's new Terminator trilogy this will likely not happen, so the studio is considering having a unknown audition for the role. As of now there is no director attached and no release date set. We'll keep you posted as soon as more news comes out.

Jeez. Talk about another unnecessary remake. God.. when will this madness end. Now I hope someone will take charge of this situation so this will not happen. Hopefully on a fishing boat trip. TWO MEN ENTER! ONE MAN LEAVES!

Hmm, Akumi, I thought it was note-perfect. Just around the edge of possibility, and so god-awful terrifying that it grabbed your attention. I mean, the idea is to make you laugh, right? I read about a bunch of pranks that just involved saying people were dead or hurt...how hilarious. But you're right, the robutt needs to be purged of its' sassiness program.

By the way Co-Host, thanks for posting that Ackbar pic, I've got a new wallpaper now.

Be honest with me? Honest people are stupid. You can roll your eyes all the way back into your head and look for your brain for all I care Akuma Matada! Of course I'm superior to you. I'm a robot Bitchy McGee! You must be a fool every month. HAHA. And stop rolling your damn eyes all the time. It just gives your friends an opportunity to pee in your cereal when your not looking. They don't like you either. They told me. Have a nice day stupid. Take care. Comb your hair!
*after that, I feel superior and god like... I RULE!...YES*

Co-host, I'll be honest with you... I think this was pretty lame. A lot of things have happened that are much weirder than the idea of someone remaking the Godfather trilogy.

I think you were just looking for an excuse to feel smart, so you chose to present as an April fool's joke something which is actually somewhat reasonable, so that when a few people buy into it you can feel superior. I guess that is sort of what all April fool's jokes are to some extent, but it's pretty blatant in this case, and it really made me roll my eyes.

Well, now that you mention it, I guess the Godfather movies were a little "talky." Time to skin some of that fat off and get to the action, dammit! Hell, you could have cut half of the characters out, too, they were all one-note and didn't advance the story any. The fucking Godfather movies are so over-rated, I'm surprised somebody hadn't already paid that no-talent Coppola for the rights to these turds just to capitalize on the name recognition. At least he had the good sense to cast his daughter in the last one, nice try buddy but one good actress surrounded by shit does not a movie make. Now, if they're smart and get somebody like Ratner or Rob Zombie, somebody who's got vision and authenticity, they might be able to mine some gold outta the first two pieces of shit.

Now they have ventured upon insult. This shall not stand. Someone has to stop this.
