Okay, I just got back from seeing a few movies. They were Semi-Pro Witless Protection, Charlie Bartlett, and BE KIND REWIND. I saw this first. And let me tell you something. This was actually pretty great. When I first heard of it I thought "Holy Sh*t! It's actually an original idea!". Because you know how Hollywood always borrows and reuses many old or forgotten movie plots? Not here. The theatre was about 89% full so it was a good experience. In case you haven't noticed, it's about a guy(Jack Black) who end up getting his brain magnetized after an accident, and accidentally erases all the tapes at his friend's(Mos Def) video store. So in an attempt to keep the store going they set out to remake all the lost films from Ghostbusters to Robot-Cop to The lion king and many more. I really enjoyed myself throughout the whole movie and had quite a few chuckles here and there. And I really enjoyed myself and will give this a full price. If you're a comedy fan go see this. If your a Jack Black Fan, go see this. If your a Mos Def fan, go see this. If you want to enjoy a nice good old fashoined comedy while at the theatre, GO SEE THIS GODDAMNIT!
