We all know that the reality television genre sucks. No masking that. It started to suck after the second season of survivor. My idea is original and creative, and best of all, action packed! It may be a faux-reality where the situation is fake but the contestants are real, but tell me what reality show doesn't have that.






Quick Pitch:
Survivor with zombies!

That's right survivor with mother fucking zombies!

It works like this. About 30 players (a mixture of regular people, survivalist and ex-military) are placed in within a one square mile starting point. This island they are placed on has to be huge!

Taking them at least a week to complete their goals. Their goal: while using clues and their problem solving skills, they are to find the origin of the zombie outbreak so you can warn the world. Once they do so, you have to find a way off of the island. The problem is that you have to do this before a week (time could change). By that time the government will come and bomb the entire island!!!

Now you may wonder about weapons and killing the zombies. I thought of it. All the guns on the island are to be replaced by paintball guns that resemble actual weapons (they exist: shotguns, grenade launchers, pistols). Also blunt weapons are replaced with nerf tools. Also the zombies wear masks that resemble this:

Only without that super armour. Just the masks that resemble zombie faces.

So we have cameras place on these people that shows what they see, and cameras hidden all around the island to see what they are doing. It'll look like this:

So there is a prize of one million dollars, of course. Like survivor, only instead, you can share the money! Would you risk going it all alone?

Or try your luck by partnering up with other people?

Just remember, some people could only partner up with you for temporary safety. They could sacrifice you to the zombies, or shoot you at the last minute. All is legal! So your situation could turn into this:

Of course there will be vehicles, but all the vehicles on the island are low on gas. You could find hidden gas tanks on the island to extend the life of your vehicle. Also the people playing as the zombies would move immediately out of the way of the vehicles and then fall over to imitate death. Also the vehicles are not heavy duty either. ATVs and dirt bikes:

But the question is, do you want to get there fast and have every zombie on your tail, or do you want to go slow and quiet.

Also there will be several villages on the island. Nothing too big, but places where you can find weapons, food, water, and gas.

But these villages will have the highest zombie population.

Villages are most likely to contain clues (which will be marked to be easier to find) to the origin of the zombie plague and a way off the island.

There are only two ways you can be eliminated from the game:

1. You are "bitten".
2. You are killed by another survivor.

You find your way off of the island with the data and/or notes proving what happened and you win the game.

Also to add more awesomeness to it. As the boat goes off, some pyrotechnics go off to imitate the bombardment of the island. You, or another, win a million and the status of Zombie Hunter.
