Who is the best Superhero of all time, and why?

In the world of comics, movies, and cartoons, there are so many superhero characters out there, with extraordinary powers and abilities, but out of all of them who is the best? In my opinion, it's The Man Of Steel. He was the first Superhero created by Jerry Siegel & Joe Shuster. When the character made his appearance on Action Comics #1 in June 1938, it was the start of the Superhero comic book era. When Superman became a success, other writers followed. If it weren't for Superman, there probably wouldn't be other heros, because after all, back in the 1930's he was just an idea, but aside from that he is the most powerful. Everyone has their own opinion on who the best is, so let's have a debate.:)
