Marvel Zombies Animated Film May Be On The Way
Ironically, in my video post for the fan-made trailer for Marvel Zombies: The Movie that I put up a few days ago, I suggested that we'd likely never see an actual movie of this from Marvel. Already, I must eat crow.
According to the usually reliable Shock Till You Drop.com, Marvel's animated direct-to-dvd department, which lately has been running circles around their live-action film department in terms of quality, has a Marvel Zombies movie in the works. That's about all that's said but THAT'S FRELLING ENOUGH TO MAKE MY NIGHT. Now if they only can get the rights to use Ash in it and get Bruce Campbell to voice him (and why not...he's done it for umpteen billion terrible Evil Dead games) Cyrus will drift gently off to sleep with a contented smile each and every night...
...until he sees how badly they'll inevitably screw it up.
Still, this halcyon time of dreams before anything gets shot on film...like before they announced Nicolas Cage was going to play Ghost Rider, or that Ben Affleck would be slaughtering Daredevil...in this optimistic holodeck fantasy that I spend a good deal of my life living in, the movie I'm picturing in my head is always superior to even a best case scenario. When they get that whole Matrix plug thing going on, my head is gonna be given the best maker of supah-cool, totally righteous movies filled with badassery, in all of history award, let me tell ya.
I've been a fanboy of this company since a previous life. I've supported them through thick and thin, but now that the company just ret-conned Spider-man's character in the comics by 20 years.... If their leader's head was anymore shoved up his own ass, he could see through his nipples.
