New Star Trek Site Provides Cloverfield-ish Puzzles

After the viral website sucess of Cloverfield, you knew that JJ Abrams was gonna get up to some of the same shenanigans with his upcoming Star Trek reboot. Sure enough, if you go to the official site and you look closely, there's a clickable spot that brings you to another site.

The site features 4 moving video panes with one of them nothing but static (the static one is different every time you refresh). By adjusting a slidable scale at the bottom of each one, you can clarify the pictures which seem to just be people assumably working on the Enterprise.

Is there anything hidden here? Cinema Blend claims they saw something appear in the 4th window, something about a hallway and some music. I've had this thing running for hours and I haven't seen a damn thing. Maybe I didn't set the sliders in the right place? Oh gawd, I need to readjust them based on the number dates of the original Trek episode, movie, and new movie...I'm gonna be a little pre-occupied here for awhile. And people wonder why I have trouble meeting women.

Well this kind of thing worked for Cloverfeild, and this is Star trek, so it's pretty much guaranteed fan fare.

Just type it in at the top of the Spill.com home page where it says search. Type in Star Trek and it gives you a good quality video of the teaser.
