If it's crap ... We'll tell you
A full three-minute sneak preview clip has been released for the upcoming animated feature 'Rango', out this Friday in theaters. Directed by Gore Verbinski and starring Johnny Depp, Rango is a pet chameleon who aspires to be a great hero until he gets separated from his owners and realizes that the life of an adventurer isn't as easy as his daydreams made it out to be. Rango finds his way to a bandit-riddled town known as "Dirt" where - through a series of increasingly lucky accidents - he works his way towards being sheriff.
The film also stars the vocal talents of Isla Fisher, Abigail Breslin, Alfred Molina and Bill Nighy as various animals that inhabit the spaghetti western-inspired world. The actors actually performed their lines and acted out their parts together on a bare-bones set, and then that rough footage was used by the animators to create the final film, giving each character the specific mannerisms of their voice actor.
"Rango" hits theaters this Friday, March 4th.
