I had been looking forward to watching Get Him to the Greek ever since I first heard it was in the pipelines. I've been a Russell Brand fan ever since I randomly brought his live stand up DVD 'Russell Brand Live' in 2006. I also enjoyed the film 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' and found Russell Brand's character Aldous Snow one of the best things about the film, and so I was excited to see a film staring this character. I know that Russell gets a lot of stick about Aldous Snow, because Aldous Snow is pretty much just Russell Brand, but why does that really matter? As long as he plays 'himself' well and is funny then it really shouldn't matter. I finally got to see the film last night and I was not disapointed.

I found the film hilarious, Russell Brand and Jonah Hill worked together really well. I do think however that Jonah Hill still looks a bit too young to play a character who is in a long term relationship with a well paid job, even with all that facial hair, he looks too young. P Diddy did give the best performance in the film, I can't believe how funny he was and it gave me new found respect in the man, he really is very talented.

The best scene of the film has to be the Jeffrey fight scene, this is when everyone gets high and starts fighting, again P Diddy was outstandingly hilarious in this scene. I did find some parts of the film strange however, the fact that Jonah Hills character cheated on his girlfriend because Aldous Snow told him to was strange, as was the threesome scene, which I found really unbelievable and stupid.

Overall I loved the film and enjoyed every scene, even the rather unreal and bizarre ones.

I really thought this movie was very unfunny but to each his own, not a bad review.
