Hell yeah!!! Tonight is Smallville night and hot damn does this episode have me excited. Tonights episode entitled "LEGION" introduces the Legion of Superheroes from the 31st century to Smallville. The cool thing about this episode is that it's being written by Superman Action Comics writer Geoff Johns! Yes the guy who's ass I'm always kissing. Here's what he had to say about the episode.
There will be many things for a Legion comics fan to enjoy. "If you're a real, real Legion nut, you'll probably see far more than anybody else will," he says. "There's a lot of stuff in there. They mention Polar Boy's planet Tharr. There's probably more fanboy stuff in this episode than a whole season of Smallville."
His run on Action Comics has made me a true Superman fan and his writing takes me back to the days of the original Superman movies and adds some of that movie universe back into the comics. The first 2 at least. I won't get into why you should be reading his run on Superman but all I can say is that this guy is really making Superman really fucking cool again. Anyway check out tonights episode on the CW at 7pm. I have a gut feeling this episode will kick my ass. If it sucks, I'll give you your money back.
With the DOOMSDAY storyline going on and this included, this season has thus far has brought in the MOST SUPERhero related content from the Superman and DC lore. I am SO glad they did not screw this up!! Can't wait for the finale!

You can tell there has been a change in staff. The pace has picked up, its a bit more adult and we are really starting to see the pieces fall into place.
Im hoping for a finally where Doomsday and CK throw downand thus Supes is born...

glad to see a blog from you again, you rusty bastard. Smallville is rockin well this season, with one glaring exception I think you'll see coming from me. Get Rid Of Fucking Lana. The first half of this season was so great and now we're seeing the same love-you-but-we-can't-be-together bullshit. And nice job becoming a fucking ninja in the months she was away, wouldn't have anything to do with Chun Lee's movie coming out, does it. Awful. But everything else, everything, is pretty great. Didn't know anything about the Legion and it was fantastic. Last week's with the Martian Manhunter was good too, but again, too much lana.

I liked it. I must say that I'm really impressed with this season. The last two or three seasons, I was just watching like it was the Trueman show... Just wanted to see how it was gonna end. This season should have been season 5. This is where the his relationship with Lois should have been back then. With Lana dropped off a cliff or something, hopefully....
Seasons 6 and 7 were toilet... there only saving grace at all was Green Arrow and he was only in for about half of those episodes.
And I must admit... I totally geeked out at the end of this one...
Spoiler...
Ya, my fist rose in the air the same time theirs did. Sue me. I need my moments...

Just watched this. Well, wasn't bad, but can't really compare it to a much superior version I saw some 10 years ago. Watch these 2 clips and compare them to last night's episode.

I know there are a lot of blogs going up for the top 10 of the decade, but I felt that there have been so many great films in the last 10 years that a top ten won't do justice. So, I'm going to do a Top 30 of my favorite films.
