Another week of the stooges laying into the best and worst of the home releases on dvd and blu-ray and another reason to stay happy.

Oh, and did I mention this extra bonus review with Cyrus and Leon covering the complete "The Dark Knight Returns" blu-rays? Check 'em both.

You guys reviewed Animaniacs! Awesome! I pre-ordered it on Amazon as soon as I heard it was released!

Yes, the one that is from Liverpool is Wakko.

Now, if only they would released Wakkos Wish on DVD.

About the volume. What they need to do is get someone to master the final audio, apply some filters to the sound, like limiters and dynamic compression, noise removal if necessary. The podcasts will sound much better after that, as the lows and highs in the recording will become equalized. I'm an amateur EDM producer, so I know a bit about this stuff.

Since it won't have a dvd would you consider reviewing Netflix's House of Cards?

#100 was probably the movie.

I don't think there has to be an "ending" to a movie. If it has a purpose thematically, then the ending is whatever the movie wants it to be. Bad endings exist, but endings that serve a purpose (NCFOM comes to mind) can end however they wish whenever in service of a larger whole.

... by the way. Love the Show.

I agree about the Volume control. I wear Headphones and I pull them off almost every time there is excitement going on. Don't change the Formula, just the audio settings.

Not sure if you guys reviewed this movie, but it's a new release on blu-ray an old 1971 Aussie movie called "Wake In Fright". I really think it deserves a review from you guys. Just saw it and it's awesome. I heard it was just recently released after a world wide hunt for the lost negative. They found it in a warehouse in Philadelphia in a crate marked "For Destruction". If you wanna see the real down under where the beer does flow and the men they chunder you must check it out.

To offer an easier solution instead of constantly worrying about your positioning to the mic you could give levelator a try. All you need to do is drag and drop the .wav or .aiff onto its GUI and then it outputs a second file with the sound leveled out. I just tried it by converting the MP3 to a wav and running it. My ears are happy and I'm happy because I can listen and laugh without pain.
