ObjectiveCyd posted a blog postWe've seen a few images from Jeff Wadlow's upcoming sequel 'Kick-Ass: Balls to the Wall,' but they've all been candid, unsanctioned set pics. Today, we have the first official still from the film. In the pic, our DIY superhero Kick-Ass (Aaron Johnson) converses with the towering Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey). I have to say, I'm impressed with the intimidating presence Carrey cuts. I'm excited to see what he does with the character. Take a look at the image below and let us know what you think.
'Kick-Ass: Balls to the Wall' hits theaters June 28th

Comment by TheBoneMage on January 22, 2013 at 2:54pm The comics are great! So if they stay true to the source material like they did the first movie, than this should be a fun film as well.

Comment by pinkyapple on January 22, 2013 at 12:16am It seems like it could be decent. I just hope they stick closer to the comic than they did in the first movie.
Comment by Anthony Stokes on January 21, 2013 at 10:15pm @John this movie's sole and only real obstacle will be making MotherFucker an interesting or intimidating villain.
We have two ways it can go imo to make it work. Make him a little bitch who overcompensates to find his super villain identity while having mother russia do the work, which mirrors kick ass's arc from the first movie. OR go the Joker route and have him be somewhat of a mastermind and have him be one step ahead of kickass. I

Comment by John Lemus on January 21, 2013 at 7:16pm Picture looks like first encounter between the captain and kick ass
I really love that they got Donald Faison to do Doctor Gravity
I am more than a little bit disappointed in Christopher Mintz-Plasse. I think he will be the weekest link in this film
Comment by Burn Victim on January 21, 2013 at 6:49pm they look like action figures
