Nick Herring posted a statusPark Chan-wook is a fascinating filmmaker. The director of 'Oldboy,' 'Lady Vengeance,' and 'Thirst,' is a major reason why South Korea has become such a power player in international cinema. His latest film, 'Stoker,' is said to be a dramatic thriller centering on a family in crisis. The film stars Nicole Kidman, Mia Wasikowska, and Matthew Goode, and today a brand new clip from 'Stoker' has landed online. The scene feels pretty unremarkable until just over a minute in, when Kidman turns and tells her daughter she can't wait for life to tear her apart. That one moment seems to set the tone for what we can expect from the film. Take a look at the clip below and let us know what you think.
'Stoker' hits theaters March 1st

Comment by Happy on January 21, 2013 at 8:24pm Wait... so you called your film "Stoker" and it's NOT about Bram hunting vampires and eventually publishing his novel as anti-vampire propaganda and to make known the methods of killing them? Not cool.
Seriously; Fuck you movie! Fuck. You.
Damn. That was pretty good. I'll keep my eye on this one.

Comment by Makalu on January 21, 2013 at 5:22pm I saw this today at Sundance, and I have to say I'm really pleased with it. Its defiantly not as extreme as Park-wook's Korean movies, but as a creepy thriller it's a lot of fun.
