And yet when I saw that luxurious flowing mullet atop Steve Carell's head, it was clear there was something truly special here. Today the first trailer for the movie has arrived and...it's a bit of a mixed bag. Conceptually I'm still really interested, but only a smattering of the jokes worked for me. However, maybe that's a good sign, as a great deal of comedies tend to give away all their best jokes in the trailer. Take a look at the trailer below and let us know what you think.
'The Incredible Burt Wonderstone' will appear in theaters March 15th, 2013

Comment by Mike on December 23, 2012 at 1:10pm Seems like they're trying to use the same formula as Will Ferrell. I'm just pleased to see Jim Carrey back in a comedy.

Looks kind of funny. I am not sure if I will run out to see it but it looks it might be entertaining for a bit. Yet, it is also possible that they have shown everything they have in the trailer. I get that impression.
Comment by Soulredeemer92 on December 22, 2012 at 9:40am I think the thing that makes me interested in seeing the movie has to be jim carey, hopefully him and steve buscemi play a bigger part than just coming out every once and a while to remind you that they are in the movie.
I love magic so this looks promising to me...hope it's good.

OH HOLY SHIT! Hahaha, the Wimpy Kid ain't so Wimpy now!
I didn't really laugh seeing this trailer. I think it has potential of having more layers beyond the trailer and the actors are amazing choices. However, it doesn't feel very balanced with humor and character depth. Also, Jim Carrey's magician...isn't really a magician. Really just more of, daredevil or Jackass-inspired record breaker. Totally the opposite from Siegfried and Roy (I know that's the point, but it is too obvious)
