First Trailer For 'Oblivion'
Late last week, we saw the epic teaser poster for Joesph Kosinski's 'Oblivion,' and now, true to the theme of the day, we have the first trailer for this post-apocalyptic sci-fi actioner. If the poster had me intrigued, the trailer has me hooked. Tom Cruise plays a drone repairman on a nearly completely abandoned Earth. The universe this creates, the dark betrayal story at play, the monsters, the fringe society led by Morgan Freeman...there is just so much for me to like about what I have seen. Between this and 'After Earth,' which also just saw its first trailer hit the web, I think this one looks more interesting and well-constructed, but only time will tell on that. Take a look at the trailer below and let us know what you think.

This just might just be my favorite movie year in a long time...
Call me a SCI-FI fanboy but I believe and HOPE that all 3 movies will blow us away.

Looks like a proper, way in the future, SCI-FI, this trailer reminds me of Wall-E (ignoring the cutesy look obviously).
I really like what I'm seeing.

Kinda digging this, although the "Everything you know is a lie" story has been screwed up plenty of times. Plus, what's with Tom Cruise playing characters named Jack?
Oh, one more thing; @1:54, suddenly Darth Vader?

lol the visuals do look a lot like prometheus, i think this one is a little more minimalistic though.
looks cool though, i love how they're playing a little with the psychological aspect with the chick that knows him, makes me think of solaris a bit.

It looks good. But movies like this make me wish they just made a Fallout movie already.
