I gotta say, after seeing 'The Hunger Games,' and from the casting reports and other various news bits regarding the sequel, I am stoked to see 'Catching Fire.' This new motion poster for Francis Lawrence's 'Catching Fire' shakes off the old logo and blazes a new one into our eye sockets. It's not often that a poster contains dramatic selections from the score of the film it's promoting. Even if you aren't into the books or the first movie, you gotta admit this is pretty cool. Take a look at the motion poster below and let us know what you think.

Catching Fire needs to change in title of article.

Motion poster huh? Seems kind of pointless, like something they should just wait and tack onto the end of the first teaser, but it does look cool.

It is what it is, a motion poster. I like the animation on it, and the new logo, but I kind of wish The Hunger Games was dropped from the title.

Yeah, it's a marketing and recognition thing, but the books didn't have this title, and looks like they did pretty well. I don't know, just reminds me of the Twilight naming scheme, that's all.

@Brinkman

Dude, the film isn't even finished, and isn't out for another year. And teaser posters almost ALWAYS start with the logo (Dark Knight Rises, Avengers, Harry Potter) I don't see what's so terrible about this teaser POSTER, it's not like they said it even was a trailer or anything.

Nice.

I think you're missing the point. Being upset that a motion poster isn't like a trailer is like being upset that a teaser trailer doesn't show enough info on the movie...that's a year away. For what it is, I think its very cool.

I approve.

Although I enjoy it I have to admit that it's the worst tease ever. When I saw the logo as a teaser I was almost like WTF. Maybe on here it is cool as something new but that's all it is. It's a motion poster. Give us some footage or even dialogue that isn't shown.

First movie was extremely mediocre to me, hokey at times where they just failed at making things serious.

But it seems the 2nd movie will be the same plot.

I thought the first movie was pretty mediocore.
