Revealing New Images From 'Oz The Great And Powerful'
With each new batch of images from Sam Raimi's 'Oz The Great and Powerful,' I become more enamored of its beauty. The production design and art direction are already shining through as what will be one of the film's great strengths. These new images do feature more of that gorgeous artwork, but also plenty of shots of Raimi's take on some familiar 'Wizard of Oz' characters...as well as a few new faces. I also love that we can see the cornfield just behind James Franco, yes...THAT cornfield. Take a look a the images below and let us now what you think.

The first few shots remind me of Avatar! (which is a good thing cause i loved avatar dispite its flaws). Looks like i might actually wana see this one!

On a side note, I want an Oz movie where the Lolipop Gil are like the A-Team or something of the sort. Those guys look like they're up to some serious shit.

I definitely feel the Alice in Wonderland-esque out of this film so far. But I'm just judging by the trailer basically. Nevertheless, I still would like to see it. Even if it's shit it should go for a nicely for a visual experience.

Right there with ya, mjtfreeze. Definitely getting an Alice in Wonderland vibe. There better be an awesome story and some excellent acting (and honestly - from Franco, Kunis, and Raimi I don't expect much).

Out of all of the wizard of oz adaptations/spinoffs/prequels/whatever this has the most potential.
