New 'Gangster Squad' Trailer
As promised us, here is the latest trailer for Ruben Fleischer's 'Gangster Squad,' the first since its recent reshoots. What I really like about this new trailer is how it emphasizes the viciousness of Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn). It helps establish the desperate situation that forced the hand of L.A. law enforcement and inspired the creation of the law-bending squad. I also like the "swear to me" line because, you know, Batman jokes. Take a look at the trailer below and let us know what you think.

Have I just not watched enough of his movies, or is this the time Sean Penn is playing a villain? I know there was Dead Man Walking, but he wasn't really the antagonist of the film.
Also, everything looks airbrushed.

Looks pretty average from the looks of both trailers I've seen so far, though it will probably be pretty good thanks to the good performances on display. Still, this doesn't look like it'll be all that memorable.

Whats the deal? It's this trailer and gatsby all have hip-hop songs in them it's okay to put period music in them or orginal score, but it still looks good.

I wasn't interested in this movie at first (I thought the first trailer was very meh) but I might check this out. Kinda peeved about the reshoots though. Maybe we'll get an unedited DVD?
