I've become torn on the whole 'Robocop' remake thing. At first I disliked the idea outright, being an avid fan of the original. However, after hearing director Jose Padilha's concept for the new version, I was intrigued. But when the first image of the new suit hit the web, it was less than encouraging. Still trying to remain open-minded, but nagging concerns remain. Recently, these new images from the set surfaced featuring a closer look at Robocop's suit, his gun, and his...propensity for sending text messages? Take a look at the images below and let us know what you think.

I think it's a real suit he will wear, my guess is not all the way through the movie. I think he will wear the original suit towards the end/ at the end of the first movie (assuming there will be more than 1.

that suit better be fixed in post, if the suit is cgi then i can let this all go, but i'm sure this is the final product

These kinds of suits always look crappy in these kinds of photos. When we see it through the film filter, it should be a different story.

These people look too normal to be residents of Future Detroit.

While I do like the streamlined look and the red LED for the visor, I kinda wish there was something else on the suit for it to stand out. Maybe the addition of silver on certain parts of the suit would help, inorder to break up the bland black. Since this is just photos and not the final product, they'll overlay CG to make it look better.

Maybe its the angle but these new pics make him look better then the first pictures that came out. The question I ask is he can act and move robot-like? Considering Peter Weller was great at moving like a robot.

My only problem with this suit is exactly that, it looks like a suit, i hope they fix it with some kind of cgi to make it look more mechanical and not so.....whats the word........ah SHIT......PLASTIC SHIT, this suit looks like it was made in America but with Chinese parts, parts made of plastic and lead.

This could look much better after post production is done.
