First Glimpse Of Kenneth Branagh In 'Jack Ryan'

Warning: Potential 'Jack Ryan' Spoilers Below

For a while now we've been reporting on the various images and whatnot from the set of 'Jack Ryan,' the reboot of the popular CIA agent created by Tom Clancy. This time around, it will be Chris Pine playing a younger version of the dashing agent. We had mentioned several times that the new film would be directed by Kenneth Branagh, but somehow I completely forgot that he was going to be in the movie as well. Here to remind us, or maybe just me, is our first glimpse of the actor in the movie. Branagh will play the villain of the piece, Ryan's boss who is funding international terrorism. I'm not sure if that's a twist at the end, or something established from the start, but the above spoiler warning is there just in case. Take a look at the image below and let us know what you think.

'Jack Ryan'hits theaters December 25th, 2013

@Joshua Balcombe, it clearly is. It's about a young Jack Ryan so it can only be a prequel or a reboot. If it was a prequel to the other movies, then it would be a period piece set a long time ago, but its not. Its set in roughly modern days. You couldn't watch this, and then watch the others. Therefore, it can't be a prequel, and so it must be a reboot.

You best start believing in generic action film reboots Kenneth Branagh, YOU'RE IN ONE!

To blow up or not to blow up, that is the question Mr Ryan.
