First Image Of Angelina Jolie As Maleficent
Do we desperately need an origin story for one of Disney's greatest villains? Probably not. But I'm still intrigued by Robert Stromberg's 'Maleficent.' The film seeks to explain the circumstances that drove the iconic 'Sleeping Beauty' villainess to a life of darkness and motivated her to place the curse upon the infant princess. Although the film doesn't hit theaters until Spring of 2014, the first image of Angelina Jolie as the titular bad girl has just landed online. She looks perfect and I love the practical designs used to bring the animated character into the real world. Take a look at the image below and let us know what you think.
