Logan, this review/playthrough had me revisiting TM Black & Head-On because I didn't get into the games when I first bought them. Now I'm loving them. Don't know why the change except maybe the two PS2 games were a little less chaotic than this new TM game.
Comment by Logan Deckard on February 25, 2012 at 8:21pm Never caught on to the Twisted Metal franchise. Might pick this up at a bargain bin in a couple months.

Bad sound but this might be the most memorable part of the game. Still don't know what the kids are saying.
Another great thing about Interstate was you could pop the game in your car's cd player and listen to all the tunes. You just had to jump past track 1 (the game files) unless you liked the Scritchy sound it made. Guerilla, a while back I installed the game in my Windows XP computer and it looked and played like garbage. It would be nice if WIndows was backwards-compatable like the old PS2 was so we could replay this and some other old games (with the benefit of a faster computer). In the meantime, all the cutscenes from Interstate '76 can be found on youtube thanks to another fan of the game.
Comment by GuerillainaSuit on February 24, 2012 at 1:26am Interstate games were awesome! I used to make my own cars in them back in the day with photoshop.
One of my fave games of all time, with the Jackie brown vibe. They need to bring back the Groove Champion!
The whole car combat genre has me pining for another go at Interstate '76. Everything from the great funk soundtrack, the humorous writing, the alternate-USA circa 1976, and the stellar gameplay made this a title that stuck with me. It would be great to see a development team breath new life into this game.
Comment by Jacky Meyer on February 23, 2012 at 5:15pm Oh wow Jeff mentioning Syphon Filter takes me back, I LOVE that series, mainly the second one. The story was actually intriguing as hell.
Rouge trip god dammit. This reminds me of rouge trip, same vehicles
