I am really looking forward to James Mather's 'Lockout.' The story of a badass criminal (played by Guy Pearce) who has to break into an orbiting maximum security prison to save the President's daughter (played by Maggie Grace) sounds right up my alley, and a lot like 'Escape from New York' but who's complaining? A brand new poster for the film has just been released and it's actually...pretty bland. It just feels cold and slapped together like something you'd see on the cover of a direct-to-video action flick. I don't know, maybe I'm crazy. Take a look at the poster below and let us know what you think.

'Lockout' hits theaters April 20th

I like how the guy is all super gritty and textured looking, while the girl is smooth and air brushed behind him.
I also like the six lens flares shining off the gun.

The poster looks like like it would be on a late VHS, starring "Dolph Lundgren" and "Joan Chen" and I would watch that movie and maybe even like it, so why not this one?

"Starring Guy Pearce as...Colin Farrell apparently "

Wow I thought it was Colin Farrell as I breezed through the first page of Spill

I don't think the poster is that bad.
