Comment by The Amazing Riojas on January 23, 2012 at 9:29pm To be honest the best Marvel series to read in regular continuity in my opinion is "The Amazing Spider-Man." It's stories rarely if ever actually crossover with an event. Fear Itself had a Mini Series of Spider-Man, not in the main series so I completely ignored Fear Itself. The Amazing Spider-Man's big crossover event Spider-Island was even better than Fear Itself IMO. It's actually really interesting except a few of them, but it actually had a good ending and wrapped up rather nicely.

If you're interested in reading a compelling Hawkman based comic, read the Hawkworld mini series by Tim Truman and the Hawkworld regular series it inspired by John Ostrander, Graham Nolan, and Tim Truman. Both Katar and Shayera Hol were interesting, devoloped characters in a suprisingly mature storyline that dealt with American politics from an outsider point of view. I don't know if you gentlemen spend much time with back issues, but these are easy to find and usually quite cheap (dollar or quarterbins.) Check them out if you get the opportunity.
@Beau You are absolutely right. I thank very much for putting it the way you did. I think you made it clearer to me than anyone else did.
Believe me, I never meant to disrespect or insult the Spill Crew. I often disagree and just as often as I agree with them. I never have problem with them or anybody disagreeing with me. I want to make that clear. I don't care if they gave Indy 4 a Full Price or Some Ole Bullshit. It's not about the rating at all. It's that I can't help but feel a little betrayed when I hear them parse a movie then turn around a second latter and call it bullshit. That's like someone telling me the sky is blue then turning around telling it's red. I really felt like they lied to me. Like I overheard them saying " Ha Ha Ha ! We really tricked that guy into believing we liked that movie. Can you believe he feel for it ? What a dumbass !" Like I said before, I really felt betrayed and lied to.
The thing is as far as I know, they never printed a retraction. They never took down the video. They might have said it in a podcast but, I don't listen to every single podcast.
Believe me when I say I still respect the Spill Crew. Why else I would have made that video that Korey posted on his page.?
I never meant any disrespect. Please don't get me wrong on that.
@Cyrus, Fungusmonkey , Grant ,Brian Salisbury ,Mandy Savage ,Harris and anybody else I forgot, If I ever get out of control again, just sick Beau on me. For some reason he understood me and I understood Beau. I love you Beau !
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull rules!
Comment by Luiçáo on January 23, 2012 at 1:11am Well, that's another argument. I was reffering to TKBE still believing that the nuke the fridge scene was possible in the Indiana Jones universe(which is not)
