Comment by CaptiveElegance on February 23, 2013 at 6:11pm I completely agree Nick Tuck
I liked the girl with the dragon tatto better then the swedish version. I think there plan to let people see the first then give then time till a great second is good. I hope he comes through wiht all three of these. I really do
Comment by Jordan Hoffman on February 26, 2012 at 12:21am My favourite animated show was Sym-Bionic Titan.
Fair enough, ZimMan2, but I'm not emotional about MLP one way or the other. For that, you want to talk to Peter.
Comment by ZimMan2 on January 26, 2012 at 3:16pm Cyrus, I love you, but you're wrong about the new My Little Pony.
However, Archer is definitely better.
Comment by Manuel Guardado on January 19, 2012 at 5:35pm I love Louis CK and have watched his stand up for quite a few years now, but it's frustrating for me to watch the show and see something that would have killed me as a stand up bit fall flat in the show. And cheapness of the show is just to noticeable to me. It looks like it was shot with a camcorder and lit with desk lamps. And as much as I love the guy Louis CK can't act. But he's amazingly talented and has deserved for a while now to be a household name.
Comment by Id0ntknow on January 16, 2012 at 6:22pm I have to disagree with with Cyrus that Archer is ground breaking. Its good, very good. However, Frisky Dingo was basically the same show. Beside the obvious (animation style), the humor is spot on.
Frisky Dingo itself was clearly made by the same folks who gave us Sea Lab 2021... which I would argue was the ground breaking show.
You're not wrong Cyrus(I always wanted to use that) in that it is a good show, but ground breaking not so much.
Comment by Eventyraren on January 16, 2012 at 3:37pm I hope that week to week episodic shows will still be there. I don't understand what is so bad about those kind of shows.
Comment by whitewizard on January 15, 2012 at 10:21pm i just do not get archer i watched an episode or 2 of the first season and became frustrated with the whole concept that shows do on occasion where a beyond incompetant idiot is constantly tolerated and sporadically praised for dumb luck especially when surrounded by normal type people who are not bumbling baboons.
compared to young justice archer might as well be a 7 year old with a box of crayons telling fart jokes. they are developing a intricate narrative and creating characters that i care about. it is still a work in progress as cartoon network has never been accused of putting out all of its episodes in a hurry, but still it looks to be setting up for a justice league level arc that will can put it up there with the hall of famers.
i guess there was not a lot of point here except i felt strongly the opposite of cyrus and a lot of others lately and just had to vent.
Wow, we are SO not on the same page about entertainment, Nick Tuck.
